This rustic pavillion served as kitchen, diningroom, and all around gathering area for the weekend.

Sleeping accomodations!

In this natural ampitheatre, Linda Morgan, youth ministry volunteer, led the group in morning meditation.

The teens spent time in quiet reflection.

Scattering to areas of their own, each teen wrote down thoughts.

Following the morning meditation, the group hiked back to camp in prayerful silence.

A happy group

These teens were in charge of lighting the cooking fire - a serious undertaking!

What's cooking?

The finished masterpiece: camp chile, cooked for hours on a fire!

"I'm hungry for your....chile?"

Finally eating!

Fr. Andy joins the ranks of those roasting hot dogs in the fire.

Not even Marissa or Linda can resist the lure of the fire!

Relaxation

An outdoor Mass was held Saturday evening by the light of a campfire.

Kayla, Kenna and Jennie provided the music - by flashlight!

Fr. Andy celebrated Mass by firelight, lantern light, candle light, flash light - any light he could get his hands on!

Lindsay read the petitions by a red light which did NOT attract enormous, winged BUGS!

Boyscouts from St. Joseph, Emmitsburg, also camping that weekend, joined us for Mass...and S'MORES!

Pancakes - a sure fire way to wake everyone up.

Almost everyone - some campers required coffeine as well!

Happy Heidi!

The weekend was about praying, being together, and EATING!

Dan - caught leaving one of the luxurious bathrooms.

One final gathering for reflection on the Beatitudes before heading for home.
