About the Camp
Camp Glow is a one week residential
summer camp for adults with mental retardation held annually at the
Christian Brothers Spiritual Center in Adamstown, MD. The Division of
Religious Education of the Archdiocese of Baltimore sponsors Camp Glow.
Any adult with
mental retardation living within the Archdiocese of Baltimore is eligible to
attend. In addition to faith formation, activities include swimming, hiking,
basketball, volleyball, games and arts and crafts. The camp provides a
vacation for those individuals who might not otherwise have one. It also
provides respite for parents who have their sons or daughters living at
home.
Camp Glow depends entirely on
the donations of businesses, civic organizations, church groups and private
individuals for funding.
For more information,
contact Gregory Rosko at the
Division of Religious
Education, 410-547-5403.
