Terrence
Ruppert
named principal at St. Mary's School in Hagerstown
The search is over. On July 1, Terrence Ruppert will begin a new ministry as principal of St. Mary's in Hagerstown. This transition comes after seven years as assistant principal at Mother Seton School in Emmitsburg.
"As I leave Mother Seton School I realize how quickly these seven years of service have passed," Mr. Ruppert said. "I leave with many happy memories and warm friendships. I look forward to joining the Saint Mary School faith community and beginning a new phase of service to Catholic education in the Archdiocese of Baltimore."
Ruppert, a resident of Frederick and native of Cumberland, holds a Masters of Education from Frostburg State University. His 23 years of education work in the Archdiocese of Baltimore include 13 years teaching at St. John Neumann School in Cumberland, leadership of St. Alphosus-Basilica School in Baltimore, and his tenure at Mother Seton.
Mr. Ruppert is enthusiastic about his new assignment. "Saint Mary's has a rich and wonderful tradition of providing a top-notch, quality Catholic education in Western Maryland, " he said. "I want to continue this important mission of the Church as we venture into the 21st Century."
We wish Terry much success as he begins this new phase of ministry!
