The Catechetical Community loses a dear Friend

Many in Central Maryland remember John Stack from the Advent workshop he presented in February, 2000 (shown at left), and his recent appearance at the Annual Formation Day.   John died suddenly on Monday, August 12. Catechists and leaders around the country enjoyed John's humor and creativity, conveyed through the numerous workshops he conducted, especially on the East Coast. Many have noted not only his love for catechesis and the Church, but his uncanny ability to make first-time acquaintances feel like good friends.
