Marian Cochran is the new DRE at St. Joseph-on-Carrollton Manor in Buckeystown. Marian received Bachelors in Education and Masters in Religious Education degrees from Duquesne University. She comes to us from the Diocese of Pittsburgh, where she worked in Religious Education for over 30 thirty years. Her most recent assignment was as DRE at St. Blaise Parish in Midland, PA. Marian is not entirely new to Maryland, as she has family in Westminster and in Baltimore.

Marian loves working with kids, teens and families, and particularly enjoys sacramental preparation. She says that one of the best things about catechetical ministry is that it is always new. 

"It is always changing, it is always challenging. That's what keeps me young!" she adds.
